Irish Gathering 2013

Next year, 2013, will mark ‘The Gathering’ in Ireland. If you’re Irish, have a link to Ireland or just have a love for all things Irish and the country of Ireland then The Gathering is perfect for you!

The Irish Gathering comprises of events and festivals that will celebrate all things Irish and aim to provoke a sense of togetherness in our community. The Gathering is highly anticipated and the events are sure to satisfy the needs and tastes of both young and old. The events span across a broad spectrum of interests as the best of Irish art, music, dance, literature, culture, sport, heritage, food and film come together via hundreds of events and festivals throughout the country next year.

You will find that there are approximately one million Irish-born people living abroad with about 70 million Irish links and connections around the globe. The Gathering is just another way of bringing all of these people together and celebrating Irish culture.
