"Many thanks for all of the excellent arrangements. Everything worked out so well for us, even the weather ! As usual, the hospitality wherever we went was wonderful and the Asford Castle was just what we were looking for. The food, accomodations and service was beyond what we expected. We appreciated the quiet countryside and beauty of the surroundings and the main dining room was an adventure every day. We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of the Castle and the close village of Cong. Tell your boyfriend he gave us great advice with the fishing as well ! We were fortunate to have fairly good weather and a very nice ghillie, Frank Costello. Vicki and I both caught some nice size Brown Trout while trolling and the castle prepared one for us for dinner one evening. I've attached a file which is some photos of us fishing. We also took an extensive bike ride throughout the castle grounds and Cong and overall, it was a most relaxing and enjoyable stay. All connections through Shannon went smoothly and Air Lingus is a very nice airline. In Dublin, we visited our favorite Pubs and restaurants and discovered some new places thanks to the recommendations of the Westbury. All in all, it was a great trip and we look forward to returning again. Thanks again for all your help."

"Dear Conor and the whole staff who helped arrange our honeymoon vacation, I can't tell you what an unbelievable time Scott and I had in Ireland. Conor, the itinerary you planned for us was absolutely perfect. I cannot not think of one bad thing or experience to tell you about because our trip was that great. The hotels, especially the Abbeyglen were absolutely beautiful and picturesque. Once we mentioned that it was our honeymoon, we got the extra-special treatment. We took 7 rolls of film, and after sharing our pictures with our family and friends, I think we sold so many people on Ireland. We're coming back next year with Scott's whole family, so you can be sure that you will be hearing from us again. We also recommended Discovering Ireland Vacation to 2 other interested couples. So thank you for organizing such a wonderful trip that has already become one of my favorite memories."

Jim & Sue McCracken - California April 2000
"Hi Joan, Well, our dream has ended and we're back in the states. There are so many words to describe our vacation in Ireland that I don't know where to begin. Probably just "Thank you Discovering Ireland Vacation". It was truly the most memorable vacation of my life. I am not your Christopher Columbus when it comes to foreign travel, but we have done some traveling. Nothing beats Ireland! There is no single word to describe our vacation. We enjoyed the country, the people, the food, the drink - an I did have my share of Guinness and Bushmills, the scenery, the cities, and even the weather which was pretty good to us - only 1 day of rain in the two weeks we were there. Two weeks was not enough time. As for favorite place: every place was special. The big international favor of Dublin, to the ocean and coast of Wexford and Kinsale, to the small villages along the road, even the farm house where you call home for Discovering Ireland Vacation, the lakes of Killarney, the castles of Galway and Sligo, the beaches of Donegal, the rugged coast and cliffs of Moher to the Causeway of the North, the towns of Portstewart and Clifden, the Castle of Dunlace, the wall of "Londonderry", and I could go on and on. Oh, the pubs of each and every place we stopped. Truly this made up the Ireland we loved. The accommodations we had were great. Each one was different, each having its own flair. The staff at each location: the Butler Manor, Perryville House, The Oceanview, Cahernane House, Dunraven Arms Inn, Abbeyglen, Seaview House, Beech Hill House and Cabra Castle met our expectations and more. Each was of its own character, and the history of each made us feel special. Everyone says that there must be something that made our trip. I would probably have to say the roads of Ireland are something to remember. As for driving on the opposite side of the road from the states, I really had no problems. The narrowness of the roads and the surface conditions left much to be desired. Oh, it wasn't easy reading the road signs either. Some in kilometers and some in miles. Some white, some green and some even brown. But it was fun and we had our laughs getting lost and ending up in some back road or farm path. If you even need a spokes person for discoveringireland.com here in the states, just call. The memories we have are because of all you in your little office. Sure, there are lots of travel agencies, but we feel that we were treated to the best. We were happy to meet those of your staff who were present when we visited, and sorry we missed the rest. Attached are the photos we took. I took over 260 photos throughout Ireland. Some great, and others well, you know. The highlight of our trip was while on the tour at Bushmills Factory, I met an employee named Elizabeth McCracken, who is working on a McCracken Family Tree and has promised to e-mail me with her work. This made my trip! God bless and please do keep in touch. If ever in the states, you have our number, and we would be hurt if your didn't atleast call. I left my card with many an Irishman throughout the land both North and South, so don't be surprised if you hear the name Jim McCracken mentioned. Spent 3 hours at the Coachman's Pub in Skibbereen after leaving you that afternoon. "

"Dear Helen @Discovering Ireland Vacation : We enjoyed our 9 days in Ireland. They were "grand". Each of our B&B sites proved to be comfortable and well-managed. Our favorite was "Ard Na Mara" in Ventry, Dingle, Co. Kerry. The Murphy's went out of their way to make our stay a special one. However, all of the Irish people we met were fine ambassadors. I'm craving that next pint of perfectly set-up Guiness. Thanks for all of your help. Regards, Marc.to us yourself?"

"Greetings from Sydney, I am an Irish Backpacker working in Sydney, and one of my Australian work collegues is heading to Europe for the summer and wanted some info. on Ireland. I happened to come across this website in my search and didn't know that it existed at all! and based so close to me in West Cork, was an even greater surprise! So my collegue has been able to get some great info. for his trip, thanks to this very informative and well laid out site. This is without doubt the best Irish Web site that I have come across. Well done and I must check it out further when I get home! Thanks for all the help! Anne."
