An excellent choice for a first time visitor to Ireland, this 7 or 8 day tour starts on arrival at Shannon airport, from where you will travel to the City of Limerick to visit St. Johns castle and rest for the night!

The rest of the trip will be spent touring the southern coast of Ireland, visiting Killarney, Blarney, Cobh, and Waterford before ending your vacation in Dublin, or if you feel like treating yourself, in the world famous Dromoland Castle Hotel.

Day 1: Limerick & Medieval Castle Banquet
Your tour starts today at 2pm, when you will meet your tour director at your hotel in Limerick. Departing from the Hotel, you'll take a quick drive around to view limerick before visiting St. Johns Castle, which has guarded the river Shannon for over 800 years. After this, join your tour guide and group for a drink before to Bunratty Castle for your authentic Medieval Banquet!
 
Day 2: Cliffs of Moher & Jaunting Car Ride
Heading through Clare today, your first stop is at the daunting Cliffs of Moher, which rise nearly 700 feet above the Atlantic Ocean! Taking a Ferry across the Shannon Estuary, you follow the road along the shore until you reach the village of Foynes, where you can visit the Flying Boat Museum, which brilliantly informs the visitor of how early Irish air travel operated!  Foynes is also the birthplace of Irish coffee, so make sure to relax and enjoy one before moving on! Next up is Killarney a picturesque, lakeside town, jam-packed with culture and atmosphere. Enjoy a traditional, horse drawn Jaunting car through the streets and Killarney National Park to Ross Castle, built on the shores of Lough Leane, the largest lake in Killarney. After such a long day, you can relax and check into your hotel before dinner.
 
Day 3: Ring of Kerry Tour & Sheepdog Trials
Today you take the beautiful 100 mile drive that is the Ring of Kerry, with incredible views of the Macgillycuddy's Reeks and other coastal scenery. Along the way there will be plenty of stops for photos and fresh air. Passing through the village of Cahirciveen, you head across the bridge to Valentia Island, where the Skellig Experience is located. These small Islands were once the home of early Christian monks and more recently a filming location for the seventh Star Wars movie! After having lunch in a nearby restaurant, it’s onwards to Sneem, a pretty village with brightly coloured houses, where you can take some photos and a stroll around. Finally you stop at Moll's Gap, where you can get incredible views of Ireland’s highest mountains and also enjoy trained sheepdogs herding sheep, before returning to Killarney, where you have a dinner reservation in the award winning Killeen House Restaurant!
 
Day 4: Blarney Castle & Cobh Heritage Centre
Departing Killarney you head to Blarney Castle where you can kiss the famous Blarney stone and visit the woollen mills, which sell quality Irish-made goods. Heading farther into Cork now, you reach the coastal town of Cobh, the last port of call of the Titanic. The Cobh heritage centre tells of the plight and travel conditions of many Irish emigrants. Driving along the coast to Waterford, you'll soon reach your hotel, where after checking in, a local historian will give a relaxing walking tour of the town, explaining its Viking and medieval pasts.
 
Day 5: Waterford Crystal & Russborough House 
You start your day today by visiting the House of Waterford Crystal, where you can learn about how the beautiful glass masterpieces were created. Next up you head to Blessington, making sure to admire the Wicklow Mountains on the way! You'll get to tour Russborough House, a Palladian mansion filled full of interesting relics, treasures and art. Your nest hotel is elegant Victorian mansion, overlooking Dublin bay. Come evening, it’s off to the Merry Ploughboy Pub, for a traditional Irish meal followed by a lively show including traditional music and dance!
 
Day 6: Dublin Sightseeing & Glasnevin Museum
For your final day in Ireland, you start with a guided tour of the capital, which was founded over a 1000 years ago by the Vikings. Classical Georgian Townhouses can be seen line every street, surrounding the river Liffey. You’ll get to visit Glasnevin Museum, Irelands national Necropolis, where Michael Collins, Daniel O'Connell and Charles Stewart Parnell were laid to rest. You have the afternoon free to explore the city, during this time you can avail your open-top bus tour voucher with a visit to the Guinness storehouse or the GPO! 
 
Day 7: Departure from Dublin
After Breakfast, it's goodbye for now!

Day 7: Dromoland Castle Hotel
Leaving Dublin, you head towards the National Stud where you can see some of irelands best horses and learn about how they are trained, bred and kept. While there you can also enjoy walks around the miniature Japanese gardens and the newer Fiacra's Garden. Reaching Dromoland, check into your room before taking some time to admire the incredibly beautiful surroundings of one of the most luxurious hotels in the country. Enjoy a delicious farewell dinner in the magnificent Dining room, a perfect finish to what we hope was a wonderful vacation.
 
Day 8: Tour end
After breakfast, it's goodbye for now!
