This 8 or 9 night tour stays for 2 nights in each of Irelands most tourist friendly and popular locations, Dublin, Killarney and Galway.
 
With traditional Irish evening experiences in both Dublin and Killarney, whiskey tastings and walking tours, this tour is guaranteed to leave you with some truly unique experiences.
 
As well as the aforementioned, you'll also get to experience Ireland’s famous scenery along the Ring of Kerry, at the Cliffs of Moher and Connemara.
Day 1: Dublin Sightseeing & Glasnevin Museum
For your firs day in Ireland, you start with a guided tour of the capital, which was founded over 1000 years ago by the Vikings. Classical Georgian Townhouses can be seen line every street, surrounding the river Liffey. You’ll get to visit Glasnevin Museum, Irelands national Necropolis, where Michael Collins, Daniel O'Connell and Charles Stewart Parnell were laid to rest. You have the afternoon free to explore the city.
 
Day 2: Kilkenny Castle and Waterford Crystal
Passing through the midlands countryside, you reach the small City of Kilkenny, where you'll visit Kilkenny Castle, which was held by the Butler family for nearly 600 years! Over the centuries it’s been constantly remodelled and now houses a brilliant art collection as well as historical artefacts of all descriptions! Next up is the House of Waterford Crystal, where you can learn about how the beautiful glass masterpieces were created. Make sure to also visit their excellent gift shop, where you can buy some of the famous glassware! After this, check into your Hotel in the heart of Waterford and after dinner, enjoy a small walking tour of the area.
 
Day 3: Titanic Experience & Blarney Castle
Departing Waterford you head along the coast to the coastal town of Cobh, the last port of call of the Titanic. The Cobh heritage centre tells of the plight and travel conditions of many Irish emigrants. After Cobh, you head further into cork to Blarney Castle where you can kiss the famous Blarney stone and visit the woollen mills, which sell quality Irish-made goods. Leaving Cork you head to Killarney, a town overflowing with scenery and culture. After checking into your hotel and enjoying dinner, we highly advise going out to explore some of Killarney’s famous traditional Irish pubs!
 
Day 4: Ring of Kerry & Irish Night
Today you take the beautiful 100 mile drive that is the Ring of Kerry, with incredible views of the Macgillycuddy's Reeks and other coastal scenery. Along the way there will be plenty of stops for photos and fresh air. Passing through the village of Cahirciveen, you head across the bridge to Valentia Island, where the Skellig Experience is located. These small Islands were once the home of early Christian monks and more recently a filming location for the seventh Star Wars movie! After having lunch in a nearby restaurant, it’s onwards to Sneem, a pretty village with brightly coloured houses, where you can take some photos and a stroll around. Finally you stop at Moll's Gap, where you can get incredible views of Ireland’s highest mountains, before returning to Killarney, where you have a night of good food and entertainment lined up for you!
 
Day 5: The Cliffs of Moher & Galway Bay
Taking a ferry across the Shannon estuary to County Clare, you reach the daunting Cliffs of Moher, rising nearly 700 feet above the Atlantic Ocean, these rock giants are an unforgettable sight. Walking along them you can go to the top of the Cliffs where from O'Brien's tower you can see excellent views of Galway bay and even the Aran Islands if the weather is nice! Leaving the Cliffs, it’s onwards to Galway City, where a local guide will give you a walking tour of Irelands cultural capital before you check into your hotel!
 
Day 6: Connemara & "The Quiet Man" Walk
Today you board the Corrib Princess to take a relaxing cruise across Lough Corrib (Mar 28 - Oct 21 departures) and also watch demonstrations of Irish coffee being made and traditional Irish step dancing. Next up a trip to scenic Connemara where you can enjoy walks along its rolling bogs, hills and lakes! We next head to the nearby village of Cong, where a local walking guide will show you locations used for filming the famous movie "The Quiet Man". After a quiet lunch in a local pub, you head to Standun of Spiddal where you can try Irish coffee and listen to a talk on traditional Irish crafts and life, before returning to Galway where you have the evening to yourself!
 
Day 7: Kilbeggan Distillery & Dublin’s Abbey Tavern
Departing late from Galway, you head towards Kilbeggan for the Kilbeggan Distillery Experience, established in 1757; it is the oldest operating distillery in the world! Enjoy the architecture of the old buildings and the intrigue of the modern whiskey making equipment. After browsing, try a sample of the famous product, before continuing your journey on to Dublin. After checking into your new hotel in Dublin, head to the village of Howth at the north side of the city to end your tour on a high note at the Abbey Tavern with an excellent dinner and a lively traditional Irish show full of songs and step-dancing!
 
Day 8: Independant Bus Tour of Dublin
You have most of today free to explore the city, you'll be provided with vouchers for an open bus top tour as well as options to visit the General Post Office and the Guinness Storehouse!
 
Day 9: Departure from Dublin
After breakfast, it's goodbye for now!

Day 1: Dublin Sightseeing & Glasnevin Museum
