Corofin, a traditional angling centre, is ideally located for exploring the world famous Burren landscape with its abundance of exotic flora and limestone crevices. The Corofin Holiday Cottages are either overlooking Lake Inchiquin with panoramic views of Mullaghmore or situated in the village adjacent to all amenties - the choice is yours. Each cottage has a living/dining room with TV and open fire. The cottage kitchen is equipped with a cooker, fridge and microwave. On the ground floor there is a convenient bathroom with shower. The houses are heated with electric storage heating throughout. Dogs are welcome at an additional charge.
A - 4 bedroomed Cottage: 2 Double, 1 Twin, 1 Bunk (Sleeps 8)
B - 3 bedroomed Cottage: 1 Double, 1 Twin, 1 Bunk/Twin (Sleeps 6)
Corcomroe Abbey, the Aillwee Caves , the Portal Dolman and many other historical landmarks are a short drive away. There is plenty to do in the Burren area from cycling, golfing, hiking and horse riding to swimming and walking. The Cliffs of Moher, Leamaneh Castle and the Health Spa at Lisdoonvarna are all within touring distance and day trips can be made to the Aran Islands from nearby Doolin. Closer to the cottages, and well worth a visit, are Dysart O'Dea's archaeology centre and the Clare Heritage centre.
