Solo Parachute Jump
After introduction and documentation, you will learn how to steer the parachute to a good landing, aircraft drills and emergency procedure. The training for a Solo Jump takes a minimum of six hours. You will then jump on your own from a height of 3000ft. Your instructor is a highly experienced skydiver who will help you today and throughout your skydiving career. Training for solo jumps commences every Saturday for a minimum of six hours. During the Summer months, the brighter evenings ensure that the jump can be made on the same day as the training. In the winter months, you will jump the next day.
After documentation and introduction are complete, the training for a Tandem Skydive takes twenty minutes. You are securely attached to a highly skilled Tandem Master, in a parachute system designed for two. Enjoy the thrill of freefall from 9,500ft at a speed of 120mph. The Tandem Master does all the work for you on the skydive. When the giant parachute-made-for-two is opened by the Tandem Master at 5,500 feet, you will help to steer it to landing.
Training for the Tandem Skydiving course, takes place on Saturdays and Sundays. Training will be for a duration of twenty minutes.
