Cappoquin

A small village in West Waterford, Cappoquin is situated on a bend in the Blackwater river, nestling at the foot of the Knockmealdown mountains. It is close to the heritage town of Lismore and within easy access of coastal resort of Dungarvan and the rest of waterford. For the visitor its position in the lush countryside of West Waterford situated by the river and the mountains offers many prospects for scenic walks (such as the Glenshelane woodland walk), horse trekking, cycling tours and picturesque drives. Its location by the Blackwater river also allows for rowing, river cruises and top class angling activities.
